Passive, lawfully accessible sources only
No contact with subjects, no source inquiries, no covert interviews, no surveillance and no access to non-public data.
DELIVERY STANDARD

Source hierarchy
Primary registries and official publications come first. Media and secondary sources are assessed by provenance, currency and evidential value.

Identity, ownership and control
Name variants, original spellings, positions, historical registry records and control indicators are collected separately and brought together in a traceable manner.

Documented handover instead of a black box
The report sets out the research trail, source position, evidence status, documented no-match results, open points and result boundaries. A no-match result applies only to the list or source position actually reviewed.

Define the scope in writing
The research question, jurisdictions, source framework, review depth, red lines and required delivery format are clearly defined before work begins.

Review identity, variants and sources
Source-script spellings, transliteration variants, stable identifiers, primary registers and other regional sources are reviewed in a documented process. Assumptions remain visibly separate from findings.

Review findings and hand over the factual basis
Evidenced findings, assumptions, open points and source limitations receive final human review before handover. You receive a traceable research workstream with source, search and evidence status.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does Wehron conduct source inquiries or HUMINT?
No. Wehron works exclusively with passive, lawfully accessible sources. There is no contact with subjects, human sources or their associates.
Does Wehron assess the legal consequences of sanctions?
No. Wehron documents facts concerning identity, ownership, control and relevant indicators. The legal assessment remains with the client and its advisers.
Can the delivery format be integrated neutrally?
Yes. Once the scope has been defined in writing, the research workstream can be structured with its source position, evidence status, open points and result boundaries so that advisory firms and law firms can incorporate it into their own case file or reporting logic.
