OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL RESEARCH

INITIAL ASSESSMENT
Three non-sensitive details are enough to start.
01 Company and jurisdiction
02 Known registry identifier
03 Pending decision and reference date
INTERPRET REGISTRY DATA CORRECTLY
A Latin-script company name is often only the starting point. Wehron secures the source-script name, maps stable registry identifiers, and traces shareholdings and indicators of control through the registry records and filings actually available. Missing, conflicting or merely time-specific information remains visible.
WEHRON / BOUNDARY
A factual basis, not a legal UBO determination
Wehron documents ownership, control, source status and open points. The anti-money laundering, tax or other legal assessment remains with the client and its advisers.
YOUR DELIVERABLE
01
Ownership and control matrix
Companies, individuals, shareholdings and relevant indicators of control are assembled into a structured chain.
02
Registry timeline and source records
Source-script names, registry identifiers, filing dates and relevant changes are placed in their source and time context.
03
Evidence status and research limitations
Supported information, corroborated links, contradictions and points that cannot be verified are stated separately.
DOCUMENTED PROCESS
01
Secure the starting entity and source script
Define the company, jurisdiction, source-script name, available registry identifier and relevant reference date.
02
Reconstruct ownership and control
Connect shareholdings, roles, indicators of control and relevant changes from the primary sources actually available.
03
Deliver the findings and limitations
Material information is corroborated where substantively possible. Single-source findings, contradictions and open points remain expressly visible.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between ownership and control?
Ownership follows formal shareholdings. Control may also be exercised through voting rights, corporate roles, agreements or other substantiated indicators. The client or its adviser determines the resulting legal effect.
What does Wehron need for an initial assessment?
The company and jurisdiction, a known registry identifier if available, the pending decision and the relevant reference date. Names of individuals, documents and case files should not be sent in the initial contact.
Can every ownership chain be resolved conclusively?
No. Registry access, disclosure obligations and historical availability differ by jurisdiction. Wehron therefore separates supported findings, single-source information, contradictions and remaining gaps.
NEXT STEP
For the initial assessment, the company, jurisdiction, decision context and reference date are sufficient. Please do not send names, documents or case files at this stage. We will review your enquiry personally and respond with an assessment of fit and the appropriate next step.
